Gol Iluminado are planning Charity Dinners, News Conferences, Memorabilia Auctions and other activities to raise funds and awareness of the Clean Water Initiative.
Gol Iluminado’s Chairman, Elias Figueroa suffered from polio at 9 years of age, was told he would never run, started his professional football career at the age of 15 with Santiago Wanders of Chile. Figueroa went on to be crowned South American Player of the Year on three occasions. Figueroa and friends will be hosting dinners and motivational speeches with proceeds going to the Clean Water initiative.

Gol Iluminado Clean Water Initiative
A $1donation provides a child at risk with purified clean drinking water for 5 years.
Gol Iluminado, in association with Actiwa Swiss, have commenced a global “Clean Water” initiative to donate High-rate Ultra Filtration systems to children’s homes, orphanages, hostels and other community locations that will provide sustainable clean drinking water for under privileged people and children at risk.
The Clean Water initiative will utilise donations to purchase, install, sanitize plumbing systems, monitor and maintain C-MEM™ industrial self-cleaning water filters that are powered by water pressure with an expected life cycle of up to 5 years. One water filter has the lifetime capacity of up to 25,000,000 litres of clean purified drinking water which will provide basic necessities for under privileged people in need.
